In her art practice she uses disparate materials to represent the interweaving of cultures which results in pieces that are pure sculptural beauty. Following in the footsteps of her Kuia, she seeks to preserve and perpetuate all things matauranga Maori in an inclusive, light-hearted and ecological way.
