Noeline Thomson
Working intuitively, Noeline's aim is to create an abstracted impression, an atmosphere, mood, or a captured moment in time through colour, mark-making and subtle suggestions of form.
Based in Beach Haven on the North Shore, her paintings often include the ocean and big skies, inspired by the ever-changing vistas from her studio looking west across the Waitemata harbour.
Noeline completed a Diploma of Art and Creativity at The Learning Connexion in Wellington between 2004 and 2006 and has been exhibiting regularly since 2003.
A painter primarily, she has also worked with other media over the years - photography, printmaking and ceramics.
